ILGM.com Online Store Evolution since 2012
ILoveGrowingMarijuana.com (ILGM) is a website that has been providing information and products related to cannabis cultivation since 2012. The website initially began as a blog where they shared a free guide on how to grow marijuana.
In 2014, ILGM expanded its offerings by launching an online store called shop.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com. This online store sold a variety of products related to cannabis cultivation, including seeds, fertilizers, and grow tents. In 2020, the online store moved to a new domain, ilgm.com.
In 2015, the ILGM online store was based on the Shopify ecommerce platform. However, in 2020, Shopify closed the store for legal reasons, and ILGM had to switch to a self-hosted Magento platform.
Interestingly, the domain ilgm.com has records dating back to 1996 when it was used by a graphic design company called Interlogics Graphics and Marketing (ILGM). In 2020, ILGM acquired the domain and began using it for their cannabis seed company.
