808 Genetics was founded on Kauai in 2014. Kauai is known as the Garden Island, is home to one of the wettest spots on Earth, and has many microclimates to test cannabis cultivars. Being born and raised on the island has enabled @supakauai to select the perfect microclimate to create premium seeds.

Hawaii is loved for its warm tropical weather and intense sunshine, which allow year-round outdoor crops of cannabis, giving us the opportunity to rapidly progress our genetics. All of our seeds are grown organically with absolutely no harmful pesticides, and infused with probiotics during development.

Our Goal

At 808 Genetics, we are passionate about the progression of cannabis, and breed our prized cultivars to create new, unique, and effective varieties. We start with a proven mother and cross it to a vigorous male with favorable and complementary characteristics. Next, we allow our seeds to fully develop under the warm Hawaiian sun, with tropical bird songs and sweet ocean breezes encouraging them to maturity.

Each new strain is then put to the test and flowered in our garden. Only the varieties we are confident with, both for medicinal value and as something we think would be great to work with in the garden, are selected and sealed with the 808 Genetics stamp of approval.

Our goal is to help the cannabis community by creating varieties that are tailor-made for specific illnesses. We specialize in strains for pain relief, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and appetite stimulation. We also work with strains that improve creativity and motivation.

The 808 Difference

From start to finish, we are dedicated to producing exotic souvenirs of the highest quality using only sustainable farming techniques. All pollen is collected in a glass jar and examined by @supakauai to ensure excellence. Our seeds mature under the Hawaiian sun with all OMRI ingredients, including Kauai farm fresh aloe, coconut water, and honey. The ocean breezes carry beneficial microbes through our garden, allowing us to produce the best seeds possible. No artificial lighting is used, only the full light spectrum, promoting natural development for an exquisite lightning bolt seed with striping everywhere.

We are committed to the utmost care for these seeds. They are collected and hand-cleaned by @real.mrs.supa. All seeds are then gone through again to remove any lighter, underdeveloped ones. At this point of the process, @supakauai will inspect them individually under a bright bar light on a dichroic glass tray, treating each one as the gem it is. If they pass this inspection, they make it to the jar!

Each batch of our seeds is stored in earth-friendly packaging, which includes a real burlap bag and a glass jar cork-sealed with wax. Our family takes great pride in offering the highest quality souvenirs and we are honored to be able to represent the 808. Mixing old Hawaii classics with the latest trend-setting varieties, we add our own twist to please the most complex of souvenir collectors.
